SWEDISH CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 2Second round was held in a sunny and hot Tibro 1 of June
Andreas qualified in 11th place in his group 1,9 sec from first place .
We had hopes on better starts wich we got from Andreas how went out from first turn around 12th place ,
In mid moto he was up to 8th and closing on 7th and 6th preforming his best racing so far this year , 3 laps from finish he was running just behind them when he lost the front wheel in a left turn and went down .
His left shoulder got the worst hit and after restarting in 14th he struggled to finish 13th in a lot of pain .
After taking some pain killers and trying to ice and massage the shoulder he decided that moto 2 was not going to happen being unable to lift up the arm without a lot of pain .
We all know the speed is getting there bit by bit , hope is that the injury isnt to bad , tomorrows x-ray will let us know more on how long he will be out .
As we know its the same shoulder he damaged in 2006 we are a little worried that 5th round of the british could be in the danger zone .
Fingers crossed .

May - Closing in on the points...Closing in on the points . Qualification : A track wich was faster than we are used to in Sweden saw Andreas in 26 th after qualification . First Moto. Well the start we just say dead last aboute , after a good pace Andreas was up to 23rd 4 laps before finish , Tried to pass on a outside but had a small crash and ended up 23rd wich is was a step up to erlier results . Second Moto. Another bad start wich saw Andreas in 30th on the first lap , Found a good pace and was up to 23 rd mid moto , Had a few bad laps 4-5 laps from finish a lost contact with riders running 18-20 , Found the pace in the last 2-3 laps and finished 22nd . Good weather , good racing , good support , Now we look forward to Desert Martin in June . Points around the corner |
20th April - Sunshine at last !First round Swedish Championship. Eksjö 20th April
At last , An event in super weather with sun from a clear blue sky and pretty warm temperatures.
For the team it was a good qualification for Andreas who qualified 10th in the morning and looked forward to moto one .Unfortunataly our rider Malin Bengtsson in the Mx girls missed qualification with 2 seconds but both we and Malin knows that next time it will be no problem .
First moto: A medioker start with a place around 25 and a rock big as a fist right between Andreas eyes smashing his googles in 2 pieces , Had to stop for a new pair . lost everything and started out in 40 th place on lap 2 . Did some good laps and made it up to 26th.
Second moto : Once again a poor start and was around 23rd out of first corner , Found a good rythm and did a good moto and finished 15 after some realy good laptimes mid moto.
Overall Andreas is running 20th after the first round , With better starts next round we know there is speed enough for top 10 finishes EASY ! for Andreas .
Next event for the Swedish squad will be a club race in Varberg Sweden 1th of May and then we fly over to UK the 3rd of May for 4th round in the brittish at Lyng 4th of May .

Here is a short report from a very very bad event with bad logistics, rain, mud, delays and some sad family news in the morning from home which made it even worse for Andreas
Qualification went good with a 26th for Andreas after just doing 3 practice laps and 3 laps in time practice .
First moto: bad start , stuck in a mud hole and 2 crashes made a DNF .
Second moto: Bad start and some problems getting in to a good pace at first cused a 28th after a few laps . A good push in the end made a 26th with the fastest lap in the last lap .
Its been a hard day and all cred to Andreas who struggled thru the day .
This was a race both me and Andreas will try to forget as soon as possible and now we focus on the Swedish championship on Sunday April 20th
